Important: Do Not Uninstall Your Current Push Service Yet!
If you’re using another push notification service and want to switch to Pushloop, follow these steps to avoid losing your subscribers.
Step-by-Step Migration Process
1️⃣ Install Pushloop
- Set up Pushloop on your Shopify store.
- Keep your current push service active for now.
2️⃣ Continue Sending Notifications from Your Old Service
- Keep sending manual and automated notifications from your existing provider.
- Each time a user clicks on a notification, they will automatically subscribe to Pushloop.
3️⃣ Wait Until You Reach a Satisfactory Number of Subscribers
- Over time, your active subscribers will move to Pushloop.
- Remember: Some users from the old database may be inactive and won’t transfer.
4️⃣ Stop Using the Old Push Service
- Once you have migrated enough subscribers, you can stop sending notifications from the old provider.
- The migration process typically takes around 72 hours.
